The Houtman Abrolhos Islands
The Houtman Abrolhos are a group of 122 islands and coral reefs located off the City of Geraldton on Australia's west coast, and are currently under a comprehensive management plan.

Terrestrial Management
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions take care of Western Australia's parks, forests, and reserves to ensure the protection of wildlife, promote sustainable recreation and tourism. This also includes the Islands of the Houtman Abrolhos.
Marine Management
The marine environment is managed by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development for conservation, tourism and fishing as a a Fish Habitat Protection Area.
